Wedding Cakes by Teresa's Custom Cakes

So your big day is coming up?! Exciting!  Teresa's Cakes would love to be a part of your big day!  We design, decorate and deliver wedding cakes for events big and small throughout northern and central Alberta.  We provide service to some of the local destination weddings as well such as Jasper & Banff.  We absolultey love cultural wedding cakes especially traditional Asian and Indian weddings with vibrant colours and ellaborate adornments.

We've put together examples of our work, options to consider and tried to provide you with as much information as to how the ordering process works with our company.  To get started, click on our Contact tab, or Book a Consultation tab (under Contact) and we will contact you via e-mail to confirm availability and get some basic information.  Although the process can be done from start to finish via e-mail and phone for couples that have difficulty meeting in person, we do highly recomment an in person consultation to get a good feel for our clients, their tastes and the themes and colours of your wedding.

Step one - The Bridal Consultation

 

We schedule consultations 6 days a week from 9:00am - 10:00pm Sunday - Friday.  A typcal consultation will take approximatley 1 hour and you are welcome to bring your bride or groom to be as well as any other people involved in the order, usually parents or bridesmaids or groomsmen or wedding planners.  Groups of two to four are ideal to keep it focused but as many can attend as you desire.

Information to bring to your consult includes any photos of cakes or designs you like already, colour swatches, and your ideas.  We'll take care of the rest and start building a design together.  All consultations are a no pressure, no fee, no obligation appointment. 

Step two - The details

 

At the time of booking, many couples don't have final timelines, exact colours, or times solidified.  We will work with you in the months following your booking to finalize all details.

Balance payments are due two weeks prior to your wedding so we usually have a short 15-20 minute meeting to obtain fabrics, florist contact information, planner contact information and final number of servings.

Rentals, Delivery & Setup? Check.

 

On your wedding day we take care of everything, we will work with your florist and/or planner for the cake table setup, bring everything and have it picture perfect when you arrive.
